What does it
actually rent for?

Describe the home you want. The owners who have it come to you.

Dubai rents fell this year for the first time since 2021, and 32,000 more homes are landing. Most people renewing right now are paying above the market. Two questions and you will know.

Renting in Dubai · Questions

Renting in Dubai — the questions everyone asks first

No. The 5% agency commission is market custom, not law — the Dubai Land Department regulates brokers and requires the fee to be disclosed, but it does not fix the rate. In practice agencies charge 5% of the annual rent plus 5% VAT, with a minimum of around AED 5,000, and the tenant pays. It is negotiable, and when you rent through diroKEY there is no agency in the middle to charge it. We show you what comparable homes actually signed at, so you can see whether a fee is being applied to you at all.
